Our Team of about 35 Members continues a rigorous training schedule that enables us to effectively respond to
search and rescue missions on a year-around basis throughout the upper East River Valley and Gunnison County.

We are expected to solve a wide variety of problems in every conceivable condition of weather and terrain.
To meet this challenge we depend entirely on contributions, grants, and volunteer effort.

We need you!

Like most SAR units in this country, we do not receive funding from tax revenue.

We currently need financial contributions to help us with training, non-reimbursed mission expenses, and the inevitable replacement and repair of rescue gear damaged on missions. We need and appreciate your help.

All members serve without pay. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, and contributions may be deducted for income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law.
